This has been a very busy year at Brookview Station. This year as we celebrate our farms’ 100th Harvest season, we will be picking our first crop of Frontenac and Marchel Foch grape.
Last year there were four new wine releases and there are three more planned for this fall. New fall wine releases include our 2009 Merlot and a wonderful 2010 Baco Noir. The Merlot is simple wine with great hints of plums and currants. The Baco Noir is a bit more complex. Its off-dry finish has developed some wonderful dark cherry notes with a slightly peppery finish.
This fall we will also be releasing our 2009 Dark Cherry Port. We’ve been excited about this blend of cherries for quite some time. The original blend was released as a dessert-style cherry wine just about three years ago. The deep amber-red color and a velvety smooth bouquet compliment a complex, smoked chocolate cherry finish.
“The Conductor’s Cassis,” released for the holidays in 2010 quickly became a guest favorite. This wonderfully decadent black currant cordial, hand-crafted in a traditional style of French artisan winemakers, just recently received a silver medal at the 2011 Fingerlakes International competition.

A dry medium-bodied red table wine blended with a touch of Noiret for a smooth, lightly spiced finish.
WHISTLE STOP WHITE"2007 Best Hudson River Region Wine" Semi-Dry Apple Wine. A subtle essence of apple is all that lingers behind its smooth sweet-tart finish. Estate Bottled.
OH WHAT A PEARSemi-Dry Pear Wine. This light, fruity wine is surprisingly complex and long on finish. Estate Bottled.
POMONA"2008 Best Hudson River Region Fruit Wine" Smell the apples, taste the pears in this blended-to-perfection semi-sweet white wine named for the Goddess of the Orchards. Estate Bottled.
STRAWBERRY SUNRISEStrawberry Wine. As sweet as a June morn, this wine is "Just Picked Perfect." Hudson River Region.
JUST PEACHYPeach Wine. Hudson Valley peaches picked at the peak of perfection! It's like summer in a bottle. Hudson River Region.
SCARLOTTA BINGCherry Wine. Dark sweet cherry flavors meld with hints of exotic vanilla.
