It will still be several months before this next vintage is released but our prior vintage was awarded Best Wine of the Hudson Valley in the Hudson Valley Wine Competition last spring, and was selected again as Best Red Wine of the Hudson Valley by the New York Cork Report 2009 Wines of the Year. CABERNET FRANC PROPRIETOR’S SPECIAL RESERVEHudson River Region. The 2007 vintage enjoyed well over a year in the bottle before its release earlier this year. Blended with just 10% Merlot, this wine is an outstanding representation of the Cabernet Franc grape at its finest (480 cases).
