WINDHAM VINEYARDS IS A PICTURE PERFECT mountaintop vineyard and micro-winery open year round, which incorporates the outdoor vineyard deck bar with views of our vineyard to enhance your tasting pleasure. Along with other tasting room renovations, this will more than double our tasting bars to better serve customers at peak times. We now offer an upgrade to crystal stemware for a modest charge for customers seeking an enhanced tasting room experience.

Windham Vineyards produces small batches of hand-crafted fine wines including Riesling, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate grown specialties, fruit wines and dessert wines. New wines for 2010 include Winjolais Reserve, a semi-dry red blend; Ridge Red, our first release of a medium-sweet red; Butter Ridge Chardonnay, that is oakey and as buttery as the name implies; and our Vintners Special Reserve Chardonnay, a richer, full-bodied version of our regular Chardonnay, but with extended time in the barrel.

Pick up a hamper at Todaro’s Salumeria in Windham to create a very special lunch at the Windham Vineyards tasting deck. Visitors will be able to collect a special lunch hamper from Todaro’s which will include a selection of regional cheeses, a fresh baked and buttered baguette, olives, pickles, salad and dressing. Arrive at the winery with your lunch hamper and we pamper you on the deck with a special flight of wines to match your lunch served in crystal stemware. For a lighter option there is a platter of regional cheeses and crackers available to enjoy at the winery with your wine tasting.

Better still, stay a night or two with our all inclusive lodging, dining and wine tasting packages. Enjoy a romantic, all-inclusive getaway in the scenic mountain town of Windham, New York. A semi dry blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, on American & French oak. The current release is a blend of the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009 harvests. Most importantly and quite unusually, the slight residual sugar in this signature blend is the natural unfermented sugar of the grapes used in the wine.

By popular demand we have released a medium sweet Chardonnay that is oaky, buttery, and full of fun.

Pure Grade A local maple syrup blended with Late Harvest Vignoles. This by all standards is in the ice wine category of quality, sweetness and flavor. 24% residual sugar and alcohol 10%.
